Join Canoe Kayak Nova Scotia and the Nature Trust as we spend the day paddling and hiking around Shelter Cove Conservation Lands near Tangier. The Nature Trust will bring garbage bags to pick up any litter washed up on the beach. For those who are not interested in paddling but would still like to participate in the day, there is a hiking trail onto the property and volunteers will be able to lead you to the site. Please note that hikers will have to cross ‘Carryover Cove’ where they will get wet at high tide. Bring your own canoe or kayak, safety equipment, water, and lunch.
