100th Arthur Weston Long Distance Canoe/kayak Race
Since 1920, paddlers have been racing the 16 km. course in tandem canoes and kayaks. They sprint the length of Lake Banook and Lake Micmac, portage through Shubie Park, paddle to the far end of Lake Charles then return to finish back on Lake Banook, all for the oldest paddling trophy in Canada... The "Arthur Weston Championship of the Dartmouth Lakes". For this 100th anniversary, entrants will be capped at 50 tandem canoes or kayaks.
Event Location: Lakes Banook, Micmac and Charles, in Dartmouth.
