Saltwater Sean, Guest Speaker
Saltwater Sean, aka Sean McMullen, is an environmental activist and content creator from Nova Scotia, Canada, dedicated to cleaning up waterways and raising awareness about pollution. Starting in 2020 during the pandemic, he began snorkeling and diving, discovering trash, bottles, and artifacts, which he now shares with a growing audience.
Sean has built a strong following: 30K YouTube subscribers, 167K TikTok followers, 103K on Instagram, and 47K on Facebook. His content highlights his passion for preserving the environment and inspires others to take action.
Known for his captivating storytelling and visual artistry, Sean has been featured on notable platforms such as Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, CTV National, CBC, and Global News. In 2023, a film documenting his journey won the Best Environmental Short Documentary award at the Sugar Loaf Film Festival in New York City.
