Parks and protected areas facilitate recreational access to nature and protect Nova Scotia’s unique biodiversity and habitats for mainland moose, Atlantic salmon, migratory birds and other species.
The government of Nova Scotia is seeking public input on several sites proposed for protection as announced on June 9, 2021. This includes seven sites announced on April 22, 2021 along with conservation lands in the Ingram River area.
